Title I Assistance Program
Dear Families:
On January 8, 2002, President Bush signed the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT OF 2001 into law. The law called for sweeping changes in public education. Among these is a federal requirement that all states and school districts in receipt of Title I Assistance must issue annual "report cards" to parents. The purpose of the report card is to give parents information about their child's school in terms of academic achievement and the professional qualifications of their teachers. By making this information available each year, parents will learn how their child's school is progressing.

Early Arrival and Dismissal
Reminder about early arrival and dismissal of students . . . .
Arrival: Students may enter classrooms at 8:15 AM. Students that arrive to school between 8:00 – 8:15 AM must wait in their respective school lobby until it is time to go to class.
For safety and supervision reasons, students are not to be dropped off before 8:00 AM. Families participating in the parent drop off line are to pull up to the crosswalk for children to exit the cars. Vehicles stopping at the walkway rather than pulling up causes traffic to back up. If your child needs assistance exiting the vehicle, please park your car in the side parking lot and escort your child to the sidewalk.
Dismissal: Our day ends at 2:45 PM. Changes to dismissal plans must be in place by 2:00 PM in order to ensure notification to all involved. Late dismissal changes affect accuracy of our dismissal procedure of 900 students. If unforeseen incidents occur which cause you to be late, please call the school office. Students waiting are often nervous and are reassured when we can relay a message that Mom or Dad is on the way.
Thank you for your cooperation.
